About the conference

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference unites and strengthens our national network of over 230+ Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies who come together every year to learn, network, and celebrate. The National Conference also welcomes leaders from corporations, community organizations, and the field of mentoring and youth development who are committed to defending, igniting, and empowering the potential of every youth.

When a New York City Court Clerk noticed the same young people coming in and out of the court system, it launched Big Brothers Big Sisters and our commitment to JEDI: Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. And now, more than 100 years later, we remain committed to JEDI initiatives and our vision that all youth achieve their full potential. JEDI will always be a part of our BIG Core Values: Belonging, Intentional & Inclusive and Genuine. It is integrated into the fabric and DNA of our organization and reflected in our delivery, outcomes, and expertise.

The 4-day conference will focus on key pillars of JEDI, bringing meaningful dialogue from thought leaders and speakers from public sector, corporations, social justice organizations, and researchers. Conference attendees will be equipped with actionable steps to continue their JEDI-journey at their local agency.
